If you are someone who has carried regrets and wounds from your past experiences in life, then you are going to want to listen to this podcast with Lisa Tahir, LCSW the author of a new book entitled “The Chiron Effect-Healing Our Core Wounds Through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness”
I know before I completed this podcast with Lisa Tahir I was not familiar with the term “psychoastrology” nor “Chiron”. Psychoastrology is the interrelationship between our personal psychology and our natal astrology. Chiron is a planet in the galaxy that was discovered in 1977 by Charles T. Knowal and was classified as a minor planet, #2060. Chiron embodies both human consciousness and animal instinct. When we are wounded our innate animalistic instinct for self-protection kicks in as a means of survival. Initially, this is a natural and necessary coping strategy. But many of us dwell too long in this space, therefore separating ourselves from our source of inner wisdom and intuition.
What Lisa does is is utilize your astrological chart to understand where Chiron is within your chart, so that she can identify where you need to work on healing your wounds. She finds the source of the core wound, then utilized her background in psychology to assist you in dealing with and releasing the pain associated with your wounds. Chiron’s untreated core wounding can lead to a host of challenges and difficulties, here are just a few. 1) Sabotaging yourself by undervaluing your worth. 2) You may have been neglected, and experience a painful lack of connection to others, making it hard to believe that you can be secure and safe in the world. 3) You may falsely believe that you are insignificant–and the list goes on.
If you are interested in exploring where your wounds initiated from, and how to deal with them then listen to this engaging and informative interview with Lisa Tahir about her new book entitled “The Chiron Effect” You can access Lisa’s website to get more information on the no-cost astrological chart so you will know where Chiron is in your chart, then once identified you can utilize her book to read about the effects and how to deal with your wounds.
