I had an absolutely wonderful interview with Stephanie Spence the author of a new book entitled “Yoga Wisdom: Warrior Tales Inspiring You On and Off the Mat.“. In our interview together she tells her personal story about abuse and how her prior life experiences strengthened her to seek a path of peace and joy in her life.
Stephanie says that people who see out yoga usually have some physical or emotional suffering and are looking for relief from yoga.
I personally have been practiced yoga for years, and when the pandemic came along my practice suffered and I miss it immensely. I am going to start back with a community of yoga practitioners within the month because yoga from my vantage point is a great addition, because of the wonderful feelings you get from the practice of the movements and breathing.
In compiling “Yoga Wisdom”, Stephanie, took a 4,000-mile journey in a motorhome interviewing some of the best yoga teachers throughout the Western United States and Canada. This book “Yoga Wisdom” is the result of all of her interviews with the yoga teachers and their stories about how yoga helped them transform their personal lives.
