In our world which always seems to change one thing that is constant, and that is our desire to help and serve. My guest Tasha Wahl on this podcast has found a very unusual way to help people, raise funds for charity, and “be the change you want to see in the world” as Gandhi said.
The Butterfly Effect is the brainchild of Tasha Wahl, as she recalls in our interview her nickname as a child was “the butterfly” as her father used to call her. Well, this butterfly has really gotten its wings and is doing the beautiful art installations worldwide while serving people’s creative inspirations and doing good for the world.
She wanted to start a micro-philanthropy movement that combined Mahatma Gandhi’s popular concept “Be the change you want to see in the world with Edward Lorenz’s “Butterfly Effect” theory that even the softest fluttering of wind can affect the molecules around it, setting off a chain reaction that produces major change. Harnessing the power of social media we create a ripple effect of contagious generosity through our Butterfly Drops and Social Butterfly Installations. Our movement is built on the idea that each and every person can be the change they want to see in the world by actively engaging in kindness, generosity, and creativity.
