How many of us have sketched out something on the back of a napkin when we were making a point or explaining something to someone? I know that I used to do it quite frequently; if not a napkin, a piece of paper. It seems as if the spontaneity might be lost if we did not sketch it out, and as we all know, a picture is worth a thousand words!
In my interview with author Tina Hay we discuss her new book entitled “Napkin Finance – Build Your Wealth in 30 Seconds or Less“. Her book is filled with napkins that are articulately illustrated about topics ranging from improving your credit to diversification in investing to reduce risk. I personally know that most of the topics are not taught in high school, for that matter not even in college. We have a country with citizens that could be much more financially literate, and if you are looking to improve your knowledge I would highly recommend getting “Napkin Finance – Build Your Wealth in 30 Seconds or Less“.
I have a background in the financial services business and some of the concepts explained in “Napkin Finance” are done more effectively than I have heard presented by financial planners. If you are looking to improve your personal financial literacy or would like to generally understand how the world of finance works – I highly recommend Tina Hay’s book “Napkin Finance“.
You can also learn more at her website by clicking here for every napkin in the book has an accompanying video production of between 1-2 minutes that explains the concept in more detail. Thanks for listening and enjoy this podcast with author Tina Hay.
