It is not often that I come across a bigger-than-life personality that is humble and tells his or her story with grace, and conviction to making the world a better place–and the sincerity of wanting to help people become more successful in all areas of their life.

One such person is Barry Habib the author of a new book entitled “Money in the Streets: A Playbook for Finding and Seizing the Opportunity All Around You.”  This interview with Barry delves into his personal life stories and the many lessons that he has learned and imparts to the reader with the heartfelt purpose of transforming you and your relationship to the world.

Barry was not born into a wealthy family financially but was born into a family that taught him values of love, work hard, and to always embrace learning.  You see, Barry’s father died of a heart attack when he was 11 years old which thurst Barry into growing up early.  He did anything he could to help his mother and contribute to the family income, he sold stereo equipment and calculators out of the back of his car, and in the process fell in love with selling.

I have always said, ” A common thread among successful people is optimism.”  Optimism is a critical component of achieving goals, no matter what you are facing.   Stay positive and be happy are just some of the gems that Barry talks about and advocates that the readers make part of their life if they want to succeed and enjoy the journey.  “Don’t just set goals, figure out how to achieve them. The key is to reverse engineer every dream. Every goal that I want to attain is reversed engineered, meaning that I start with the destination and then map out the tasks in bite-sized steps.
