What a wonderful little book Scott Blum has written. I love books that tell a story, while at the same time are educational, entertaining and inspiring.
In Scott’s new semi autobiographical parable entitled, “Waiting for Autumn”, Scott does a masterful job of taking the reader on a journey with a mysterious cardboard-sign-toting homeless man,by the name of Robert, with a penchant for changing lives. Scott is thrust into a spiritual adventure where he attempts to heal his past while confronting the spirit of his dead fiancee. He ultimately faces an extraordinary dilemma between his spiritual calling and earthly responsibilities.
In this wonderful interview with Scott we explore the spiritual realms of shamanic soul retrieval. Scott states that as we grow older most of us are leaving part of our soul behind. He believes that we can be reunited with these aspects of our soul through shamanic soul retrieval. I found this part of our interview together to be quite interesting and provided me with spiritual nourishment. It doesn’t matter what religious or spiritual beliefs you have developed, Scott’s viewpoints on energy healing, conscious eating, nature-spirit communications, Kirtan, ancestral healing are all worthy personal contemplation.
The journey you take as you read,” Waiting for Autumn”, will surprise you, while awakening your soul. You will certainly be asking yourself questions as Scott takes you on a very personal spiritual journey.
This metaphysical page-turner is a fascinating exploration of one humble soul’s profound awakening with a surprise ending that will warm your heart. I encourage you to listen to one of the most compelling and interesting interviews that I have completed in the last 18 months of doing my Inside Personal Growth podcast.
I also would suggest that you visit Scott’s very popular website the, “Daily Om”, which provides the inquisitive minds with an array of resources on spiritual growth and development.
