This is not just another interview with an author about meditation. Alka Dhillon has a very interesting personal story with purpose and meaning behind her book “The OM Factor”
Alka ” provides the reader with practical advice about how to lead a life of fulfillment, joy and success. She provides what she refers to as seven practical steps to healing the wound and getting your two extra arms. While these steps are focused on meditation, she has added an all important step around “judgement”. It is something that almost all of us do, not only focused on others but self judgement and unless we can forgive ourselves and others our world becomes a miserable place to live in.
We all hear the word “stress” and know that we are surrounded by circumstances and events that we can cause us high levels of stress. The bigger question is how do we reprogram our brains to act instead of react to the “stressor”. The OM Factor guides the reader through examples and stories from being anxious to feeling anger or resentment to almost everything in between in an effort to show and instruct the reader on how to overcome the stress. Alka does a wonderful job of giving the reader practical advice with techniques that will ease or even potentially eliminate the stress. If yoga and meditation are part of your daily practice, then you are going to love my interview with Alka Dhillon.
