Intentionally is a how we all strive to live our lives. The question is how frequently do we live a life focused on our intention?

In my recent interview with Mallika Chopra we discuss her new book entitled ” Living with Intent“.  Even the daughter of Deepka Chopra had her own messy journey to purpose, peace and joy.  As he points out in our interview she struggled managing a business, motherhood and balancing between all of the demand on her life.   Mallika was taught at a very young age growing up in her home to set intentions and have a daily practice of meditation, but like all of us she got off track and had to take a strong look at how she was living her life.

How many of you set intentions daily before your feet hit the ground?  How many of you give gratitude for all that you have daily?  Just these two practices can have a significant impact on your happiness, joy and fulfillment in life.  Millika has an acronym for “INTENT”.  “I” stand for Incubate, “N” for Notice, “T” for Trust, “E’ is for Express, “N” is for Nuture, “T” is for Take.  Intention are expressions of who we aspire to be as individuals-physically, emotionally, spiritually as members of our families and communities.

If you are looking to live your life with more intentionally, peace, joy and happiness then I recommend that you listen to this wonderful interview with Millika Chopra about her new book “Living with Intent“.

I had the pleasure of meeting, then conducting this interview with author and sport agent David Meltzer.  His new book entitled ” Connected to Goodness” is about David’s personal journey, with life lessons that will inspire, inform and get the reader to take a new look at how they view the world.

Most people would assume that a sport agent needs to be tough and a ruthless negotiator.  David Meltzer is calm, peaceful, compassionate, empathic and a totally understanding person, and these qualities  he learned throughout life have shape him into a person who is an amazingly successful as a businessman and sport agent.

David lives by seven interconnected principles and four key elements of: clarity, balance, focus, confidence.  David also understands the importance of defining and living your purpose while examining your values, and aligning them with your purpose.  He also knows that having a foundation in life is imperative.

“Everything in life, from the construction of a building to a relationship, requires a solid foundation , or it will crumble. Values provide that foundation.  No matter what you attract in your life, identify, prioritize, and utilize your own values to build the foundation that will best provide clarity, balance and focus with confidence.

I encourage you listen to David Meltzer the author of “Connected to Goodness” while we learn from a master who has taken the time to understand the complex workings of the human mind, and has mastered his thoughts,  resulting in phenomenal success both personally and professionally.

I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Derek Rydall the author of a new book entitled ” Emergence: Steven Steps for Radical Life Change.

In my interview with Derek we discussed his unique approach to the end of self-improvement.  As Derek discussed with me, his premise is that if we look at ourselves as being whole and complete just the way we are, we don’t need to change anything.  I actually really like his approach, because it is correct.  Each and every soul that is incarnate on this planet is whole and complete, and if we were to approach life from this perspective we would not come from lack, limitation and fear.  Our ego does a really good job of instilling within us  the feelings of lack, limitation and negative self talk.

Derek uses the symbolism of the “oak tree and the acorn” and calls it the acorn principle.  Because many of us hold a belief that our fate is determined by external conditions and that things we need are “out there”–the reverse of how life really works-we constantly struggle against the nature order of the universe.

The acorn principle allows you to understand your true nature, and how you were designed to grow and thrive.  The acorn already contains the perfect pattern and potential to become an oak, and so do you.

If you want to learn more about Derek and his new book Emergence: Seven Steps for Radical Life Change please click here to be directed to his website.

I hope you enjoy my interview with an author that takes a totally radical perspective to ending our delusion of lack and limitation, and truly helps us see who we really are and capable of growing into.

I recently had a wonderful interview with Whitney Freya the author of “The Artist Within“.   Whitney is a creative muse and coach for a growing number of clients around the world.  Her new book “The Artist Within” is a guidebook for helping our inner artist to become more expressive.  Whitney likes to refer to this process as “making us creatively fit” and finding our “super soul flow”.

She outlines the eight principles of design, and these principles are the language of our mind’s eye–how we visually analyze everything we see.  As we discuss in our interview we explore these principles which are emphasis, balance, proportion, unity, harmony, contrast, rhythm and repetition.

If you have not drawn anything or painted or used any form of media to express yourself you might want to check out Whitney’s new book and learn what it possible to become more artistically expressive and not be afraid doing it. You will definitely have fun and your creative energy can be expressed in many different ways.

I recently interviewed my good friend and awesome author Steven Kotler.  Steven has co-authored another book with Peter Diamandis which pushes the needle, and really gets the reader to think and take action.  BOLD: How To Go Big, Create Wealth and Impact The World instructs the reader on the new exponential growth  in technologies and how to play the game with the best of the best.  As Bill Clinton states ” This book is a visionary roadmap for people who believe they can change the world–and offers invaluable advice about bringing together the partners and technologies to help them do it.”

In my interview with Steven we discuss the current technologies which are revolutionizing how we work and function as a society.  We talk about everything from 3D printers to the advancement in robotics and artificial intelligence.  These technologies and many others will shape the world as we know it, and the best part about the development of these technologies is that it is moving faster and faster, and we can all play in the game if we choose.  I must admit I have never felt so encouraged after an interview as I did with my interview with Steven– these are exciting times we live in; and BOLD is a must read for anyone wanting to make a difference in our world.

BOLD provides an easy to follow roadmap because it is divided into three parts: BOLD Technologies, BOLD Mindset and BOLD Crowd.  These are the three fundamentals that the authors state are required to create change and participate in the exponential revolution in new technologies.  It is also loaded with great stories from the leaders in the industry, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, Elon Musk and others.  I highly recommend this book it is chock a block “full” with advice, stories and practical applications on how to proceed to become a BOLD leader in the technology revolution.

We are all attempting to improve our lives, while having a more fulfilling personal and professional life.  We all experience peaks and valleys, that seem like a rollercoaster ride at times.   I am always excited  interviewing new authors who have spent much of their lives not only living in the peaks and valley, but finding ways to make life more fulfilling.

In my interview with Dr. Deb Carlin the author of “Build the Strength Within” we explore ways that she has found over the years with working together with her patients to create more exciting and fulfilling lives.  Dr. Carlin has developed a blueprint for success, which focuses on intentional and integrated life.   She has provided a guidebook with self-assessments and direction on how to live a fully integrated life, where we put our focust on all elements, mind body and spirit.

Our mind is only part of the overall equation, but one element that I hear over and over again from our authors is our “self-talk script”, and in particular our negative self-talk.  Dr. Carlin points out that we need to be comfortable in our own skin and be compassionate with ourselves and others. If we would just sit silently with ourselves, and breathe in the essence of life we could learn so much about our higher spiritual calling.

Dr. Carlin’s book is  a guide to building a new blueprint for your life.  It is designed to get you thinking, assessing and acting on your vision for a better life.  She has developed a series of extremely well produced videos that you can view by clicking here.  This video series is provided at no-cost to the reader, and is a wonderful supplement to the book.

As we approach the end of the year, most people are reassessing their lives, goals and vision for the future.  I  highly recommend “Build the Strength Within” as a wonderful book and tool to help you reinvent your current life into one with more passion, purpose and meaning.

Enjoy my wonderful interview with Dr. Deb Carlin.

Our body is constantly speaking to us, the big question is are we listening?

In my recent interview with Jeannine Weist we discuss her new book entitled “The Alchemy of Self Healing- A Revolutionary 30-Day Plan to Change How You Relate to Your Body and Health.”  Jeannine is a certified craniosacral therapist who coaches movie stars, stressed-out executives and client who are living anxiety-ridden lives.

In our interview together we discuss how she helps people transform their old stories that dwell in the body and drain their well being.  Jeannie knows how to help us tap into our bodies wisdom and access our creative forces and energy.  She works at a cellular level to access the information that is blocking us from having the energetic and fulfilling lives we deserve.

If you are interested in learning more about how to access this energy I recommend reading her new book ” The Alchemy of Self Healing” as well as listening to our interview together.  You can also learn more by clicking here to be directed to her website.
