In this interview I spoke with the founder and Catalyst at Success Redefined, Larry Kesslin.  In his new book “Success Redefined” he writes about how the more we understand how success drives our lives the more we can redefine it so we can live more fulfilled lives.  He talks about his old definition of success being “the ability to do whatever I want, whenever I want,” and why he has since changed it to “success is the ability to do whatever I want, whenever I want—while being part of something greater than myself.”

Larry Kesslin has been an entrepreneur who has focused the past 21 years helping business owners in the IT industry become more successful. His belief is that by helping others get what they want, he will get more than he needs.  You can follow Larry here on his blog.  Pre-order your copy of “Success Redefined” here.

This interview is with the renowned psychic medium, Bill Phillips about his book “Expect the Unexpected: Bringing Peace, Healing, and Hope from the Other Side.”  This book channels Bill’s down-to-earth, honest accounts of how he became a psychic medium. Part memoir, part explanation, and part inspiring testimonies from clients, this book will provide you with the “unexpected”: insight, wisdom, and evidence that there is a life beyond this one and that we are never alone.  He writes about how he first denied his gift to reach loved ones from the other side and later embraces this gift.

Bill Phillips is a 29-year-old benevolent businessman with an operatic voice and a degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  Bill’s tumultuous childhood opened the door to his extraordinary life today. Two days after his mom’s death, she visibly appeared to him from “the other side” to let Bill know she was spiritually alive and that the afterlife was a good place to be.  This was the beginning of his life journey.

I have to say that Bill Cates  and his new book entitled ” Beyond Referrals” is one of those books that almost anyone in the business world can read and gain useful insight into building relationships, and getting referrals to perpetuate their business.

Bill speaks with me in our interview about building what he refers to as a “Referral Mindset”  Bill states that beliefs and awareness of referrals is ultimately what will determine your success in obtaining more referrals.  If you believe something is possible, then you will see the opportunities.

Bill asks the reader to ask themselves three (3) questions: 1) Are you committed to referrals?  2) Do you believe asking for referrals is safe?  3) Do you have a process to generate referrals?  In our interview together we explore these questions and more about building a business based on referrals.

It is seldom that I come across a book that is packed full of insight, wisdom and real world applications.  I had the honor of conducting an interview with Rebecca Costa the author of ” The Watchman’s Rattle-Thinking Our Way Out of Extinction“, about her new groundbreaking book.

Rebecca states that many of our current world problems are due to the accelerating complexity which outpaces the rate at which the human brain can function and develop new capabilities.  If you feel that our world is moving at breakneck speed and you are not able to keep up with the pace, you are not alone.  In the “Watchman’s Rattle” Rebecca cites civilizations such as and Mayan, Khmer and Roman empires which fell and became extinct due to trying to find quick fixes to their problems.  Drought, food shortages, war, population growth as all factors that we face today, and will require that we think our way out of extinction.  Biological capabilities–the genetic features of each human organism–represent the only common denominator in every civilization and therefore, must necessarily play a role in every civilization’s outcome.  Evolution can not be left out of the conversation, ” The Watchman’s Rattle” the the book that allows for us to have this dialogue and understand our challenges, and hopefully come to a way out of extinction.

Rebecca cites what she refers to as supermemes which are beliefs that have transferred from generation to generation and are at the foundation of the challenges we are facing as a civilization today.  Everything from irrational opposition to extreme economics, Rebecca and I discuss these supermemes in our interview together.

If you are interested in learning more about Rebecca Costa and her fascinating viewpoint on our current state of the world, then I recommend you click here to be directed to her website.

She is also the host of “The Costa Report” which is a online radio show that she does weekly, you can click here to be directed to the show.
