Welcome to the “Inside Personal Growth” blog. The purpose behind this blog is to give you insight into some of the best thinkers and minds in the personal growth / mastery business.
I personally have been an avid reader, and seminar and workshop attendee for over 35 years and have benefited tremendously from the many books, CDs, retreats, workshops and seminars of these personal growth gurus. Like you and me, they are on a very similar journey through life. We all have our have our ups and downs in life, as I frequently say, but how we relate to the issue is the issue. The only difference between us and the personal growth gurus is that they are attempting to practice and apply behavioral and pattern changes by becoming more aware before they act. Knowing what we are doing and becoming aware of our patterns and behavior is half the battle.
In my opinion, a heightened level of awareness associated with our behavior, attitude and ingrained patterns can help transform lives. The body of work centered on personal growth and mastery is dedicated to making us more aware of our patterns and then to provide us tools, laws and principles as options to improve and modify our behavior, patterns and thinking. If you are anything like me, old patterns and behavior have taken years and considerable work, thought and effort to modify. I find that a big dose of self-forgiveness is necessary when we lapse back into our old patterns.
Deep inside we all know how to love ourselves and others but we frequently have a lapse in memory. We were all blessed with strong intuition but forget to tune into and hear the strong signal of that inner voice of wisdom.
If you choose to continue to visit my blog you will be invited to read, listen to and view short video insights from personal growth gurus of this era and past. You will find interviews, podcasts, references to books, CDs, workshops, retreats, seminars and have an opportunity to share your reflections, experiences and insights as you journey through your personal growth. Let me know what has worked and what has not worked for you.
I will also keep you informed as learning courses are developed by authors for a new web based platform called Digital Seed. I am one of the co-founders of eLuminate, the company behind Digital Seed, and our focus is to bring the best authors, speakers, trainers and contents experts to you via our new interactive, multi-media web-based learning platform. The purpose behind this web based software is to provide the learner with easy access to engaging, fun and immersive content while simultaneously allowing the learners to interact in a community of like-minded individuals about the learning content. If you are interested in seeing a brief video demo of our Digital Seed platform with a module from authors Dr. Joel and Michelle Levey on Mind Fitness please click here.

Nice blog Greg! I agree with your thoughts on forgiveness. We can’t do too much of that. And although we all seem to “forget” who we are sometimes, answers to life’s difficult questions are available to each and every one of us if we just take the time to slow down and listen to that inner wisdom we all share. I look forward to reading more!

Greg,
At a time when many of us are wanting to know
how to enjoy life more, makes your timing on target.
The question is…
will people take the time to seriously share & listen?

Greg,
Nice job with this blog set up, in general, and your blog specifically. I’d like to add a comment about self-forgiveness, which is something we all can struggle with at times. I find it easier to forgive myself when I remember a few things: 1) everyone has regrets, 2) not all people know they have something to regret, 3) I’m fortunate enough to know I have regrets, 4) regrets are what we sometimes have difficulty forgiving ourselves for, and 5) what we DO with ourselves and how we change our behavior after realizing our regrets is what builds character. While I can’t claim that I’ve been successful using all my regrets to build character all along the way, I do find comfort in having earned some of the lines on my face.
Okay, so nothing particularly profound, but I’ve found solace in this idea as I’ve struggled to keep that inner voice quiet that reminds me of things I’d sometimes rather not remember here and there. Hope this helps someone…
Keep up the good work with this blog!
Peace,
mrj
